Involved in music since the early 70’s, Vern Baardson has performed to audiences across the United States, Canada, Japan, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Norway and Italy in both concert and speaking venues. His uniqueness in concert comes out of a genuine care for people, a good sense of humor and a zest for life.
An ability to communicate with all ages enhances his music program. His down to earth practical messages will be remembered by the whole family. Vern has performed his public school program “Singing in the Grain Bin” for over 100,000 students on two continents.
Vern has recorded six albums that are heard around the world. His wide range of musical styles include his favorites--songs that point others to Jesus.
Having traveled full time in a ministry of music and evangelism for over 14 years, Vern also spent over 16 years as a church planter. Currently he and his wife, Casey, are helping plant a church in West Fargo,North Dakota where he serves as police chaplain. He was the head tennis coach for 10 seasons for ShanleyHigh School, and named Eastern Dakota Conference Coach of the Year in 2006. Vern is a presenter for “Walk Thru the Bible” ministries. The Baardson’s are pleased to be World Vision Artists to help the poorest of the poor around the world.
