The goal of this project is to provide a worship experience that not only draws from todays music but that taps into our rich religious music heritage as well. The new release by Dave Pettigrew entitled Solo Volume 2 is a more stripped down approach for the artist. Only Dave's voice and a 1905 Steinway & Sons piano capture the seven songs on the album. The first and last are the classic hymns "How Great Thou Art" & "It Is Well", the other five are Pettigrew penned compositions of faith & hope. The album is the second in the "solo" series in Pettigrew's discography. "These albums are for the worshipper who needs to slow things down & just get downright introspective", says Dave of the two releases.
